Introduction

Ranchi is the capital of Jharkhand.lt is located on the Southern part of the chotanagpur Plateau. Due to its hilly topography in combination with greenery and natural water falls, Ranchi had attracted the Officers of British Raj and the Indian Bourgeois who started preferring it as a holiday destination. In due course of time it also turned into a sanatorium. During this time a lot of institutional as well as recreational buildings were being built by the then government and its officers. One such building is Audrey House.
